Amy S. Morin, MBA, RYT
Director, Yoga Instructor and
Clinical Aromatherapist
Amy holds an undergraduate in Applied Health Fitness from Plymouth State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Whittemore School of Business and Economics at The University of New Hampshire. Her 200 RYT training was completed at
Yoga I.S. in Louisville, KY, a registered
Yoga Alliance School. Amy is continuing her studies in yoga at
Asheville Yoga Center with a focus on yoga as therapy for oncology and heart patients, and programs specific to the aging population. Amy teaches yoga to all populations including as an adjunct Assistant Professor at
Midway College. In addition, she has completed more than 200 clinical and academic hours as a Clinical Aromatherapist at
Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy in Crestone, CO.
Shonna R. Storz, MS, RD
Yoga Instructor
Shonna, a Registered Dietician, earned her Bachelor of Science from University of California at Davis, a Master of Science in Biology and Nutrition both from Florida State University. She has been in the health and wellness industry since 1998. Since that time Shonna has taught yoga, pilates, Resist-a-Ball, personal training and group exercise instruction. In addition to the many classes designed for adults, she has designed and delivered a yoga program specifically for children.
Cathrine Weaver, BA, RN, BSN
HealthRHYTHMNS Instructor
Cathrine (Lynn) is a registered nurse with a focus in oncology. She has been drumming since 2003 and became a
HealthRHYTHMNS Facilitator in 2005 currently working with cardiac step-down and infectious disease patients at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. In her additional role as Coordinator for the hospital Complementary/Alternative Development Committee, she has used drumming with patients and staff to relieve stress and reduce anxiety. Lynn considers herself fortunate to have studied under master drummers Greywolf Murphy and Thobos Lubamba in Orlando, FL and to have completed HealthRHYTHMNS protocol creators Dr. Barry Bittman and Christine Stevens, MSW.
Shelley Richardson, BMEd, MEd
Energy Healing/Reiki Practitioner, Meditation Instructor
Shelly Richardson is co-owner of Elmwood Inn Fine Teas/Benjamin Press. She holds degrees in both music and education from Florida State University. A long time student of meditation and energy healing with an emphasis on Usui Reiki, Shelley is a certified Reiki practitioner by
The International Center for Reiki Training and
The International House of Reiki. She has studied and traveled to labyrinths around the world and was one of the founders of the Danville Labyrinth Project.
Mary Joe Bowling, ND, RYT
Yoga Instructor
Mary Joe attended
Trinity School of Natural Health in Indiana where she completed studies as a Doctor of Naturopathy. She is a certified Reiki Master and a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. Mary Joe has been teaching
Ananda yoga in the Danville community for more than 15 years. Her current studies have her traveling to India to learn more about Ayurvedic healing. Mary Joe resides in Danville, KY with her husband John.
Kristina Beaman, LMT, RYT
Yoga Instructor
Kristina attended the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in Browns Mills, NJ with a focus on medical massage. With a prior background in OB/GYN, she incorporated pregnancy as a specialty in her massage practice and obtained a National Certification in 2008. With a strong believe in utilizing the power of touch to heal and improve the health of others, Kristina completed the yoga teacher training program at
Lexington Healing Arts Academy in Lexington, KY October 2012. Kristina and her husband live on a small farm in Garrard County where they raise fruits, vegetables and flowers with the assistance of their dogs, goats and chickens.
Beth Minor, LMT
Massage Therapist
Beth has 25 years experience as an allied health
professional completing her massage therapy training and certification
at
Lexington Healing Arts Academy
in Lexington, KY. She has been in full-time practice as a massage
therapist for more than 10 years with some of that time in private
practice with a Naturopathic Doctor. She is trained in many types of
energy healing work such as cranial sacral, biofeedback and Reiki.
These healing modalities, combined with Beth's expertise, make for a
wonderful therapeutic combination.
Kari Marie Fogle, LMT, CT
Massage Therapist
Kari Marie has 26 years experience in the health & wellness industry as a Licensed Massage Therapist, International Travel Consultant and Certified public speaker. Kari Marie completed her massage therapy and training certification at
Lexington Healing Arts Academy in the year 2000. She served on the Massage Therapy Advisory Committee at
Spencerian College, volunteered several years for
Hospice of the Bluegrass donating massage therapy services to families of terminally ill patients. Kari Marie is a compassionate healer with a servant's heart. She has advanced training in several modalities of massage and bodywork such as neuromuscular therapy, pre and postnatal massage and hot stone therapy.
